Science at Western
You will gain experience and understanding regarding the recognition and collection of biologically relevant evidence, through to the application of presumptive testing, confirmatory testing, DNA profiling methods and evidence reporting. There is a focus on front-end forensic biology work coupled with a theoretical understanding of the scientific principles that underpin current DNA analysis techniques, presumptive tests and DNA profiling results. This degree combines Forensic Biology with learning about Education where you will also complete four units of study in Education Studies. You will be offered a place in the Master of Teaching program on successful completion of the degree.

*The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the course (80 credit points) per annum.
